“Theology of the Body” course for 2nd and 3rd year theology seminarians.
After the summer vacation period and in preparation for the 2024-2025 course, 2nd and 3rd year theology seminarians attended an intensive course on the theology of the body. The course was held from September 2 to 6. The theme the Theology of the Body was directed by Fr. Brian Wilson LC, based on the teachings of St. John Paul II, which seeks to integrate body, love and spirituality from a Christian perspective. Rediscovering the sense of the body as a gift and its role in the vocation to love and communion. Likewise, it was integrated with the Affective Maturity course, addressing the psychological aspect by Dr. Laura Salvo and the practical-pastoral part by Fr. Lauro Vattuone LC. The vision of the course was to introduce seminarians to what the Church teaches about the diversity and unity of human beings under the aspect of love. Group discussions and times of adoration and prayer were held during the course.
